Looking for ways to bring art and science together for STEAM education? Join educators Carol Wilson of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Alison Cawood from the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, and Carol O’Donnell from the Smithsonian Science Education Center to explore techniques to combine art and science into engaging activities for K-12 classrooms. They’ll discuss underlying strategies to integrate history, art, culture, data literacy, and science focused on real-world phenomena and problems. You will see three examples from the Smithsonian and leave with a collection of replicable activities and resources to make learning come alive.
