The American Association for State and Local History hosts its monthly community building event, this time on the subject of Christmas.

Date: Tuesday, November 26, 2024
Time: 2 p.m. CT
Location: Online

From AASLH:

AASLH History Hour is a monthly online networking and community building event for those who work and volunteer in history organizations. Each month, we provide a topic and a list of questions for you to discuss in small groups. It’s a great way to meet people and hear other perspectives on common topics in history organizations.

History Hour will be hosted by Ken Turino and Max van Balgooy, co-editors of the new AASLH Book Series Interpreting Christmas at Museums and Historic Sites. Join us to chat about how to make sure Christmas interpretation aligns with your mission, how to involve community partnerships in Christmas programming, reinterpreting Christmas, and more. Share with others and learn from your peers during the breakout discussions. Everyone who registers will receive a discount code for 30% off the book.

Note: Participation is free, but pre-registration is required.
